HI! :D

Hey everyone,
So I've been back on LJ, had a journal here a long time ago, don't even remember the username for it... I love meeting new people, so I decided to post here :)
My name is Anastasia, I lived in Canada for almost 10 years and I was born in Russia and left it for Canada with my parents when I was 11. So you do math on how old I am :P I speak English and Russian fluently and a tiny bit of French but its nothing special at all. This journal is all English though, however I do like to talk about my culture sometimes (mostly music and books) as it is an important part of who I am.
I am in my 3rd year of Nursing School, I guarantee I will write about that A LOT... Just because I love it and I am still trying to decide what specialty I wanna go into. So just a warning that I am a huge nerd in terms of school xD In general, nursing school has taught me a lot about the kind of person I want to be and I am thankful for that.
My interests include but not limited to: cooking, baking, knitting, working out, shopping, meditations, reading, cross stitching.. you get the picture ;)
I am a pretty friendly person, tend to be shy and quiet when someone firsts meets me but that is such a cover up for the kind of person I actually am xD  I will voice my opinions in my blog as well, because I just can't help that I got them :P I enjoy a good constructive argument, it is interesting to hear both sides of the story for sure. A few of my friends say I should have gone into law school because I argue well... XD Nah, I love my career choice so far :)
My sign is Scoprio and I would say it is pretty accurate with regards to the kind of person I am. 
I like watching How I met your Mother, Big Bang Theory and good old Friends. That's about it. I don't watch too many movies (unless its with my boyfriend) nor am I up on any new TV shows (barely watch TV..). I just browse on line and see what interests me.

PS: oh and to add something - please be aware that my entries can be lengthy.. I do appreciate comments, so do not add me if u dont like read long rambles of every day stuff/thoughts and have no desire to comment on it. just as a heads up :)
