My name is Nicola, and I'm 20 years old. I live in England where it is currently so cold that I'm writing this whilst wearing two coats and a duvet, which doesn't make me feel very hopeful considering it's only just October.

I'm in my second year of university where I'm studying combined english and early childhood studies. I'm not really that interested in the whole university thing anymore, and honestly the only thing that is keeping me going is the fact that as it's already put me in debt, I might as well get something out of it. When I finish my degree I'm planning on doing a masters in primary teacher training, which I know completely contradicts what I just said but hey, that's my mind for you! Because my university hours this year are a bit weird I don't really have a proper job at the moment, but I help to teach trampolining when I have the time.

Trampolining is one of the many things I do outside of university. I am one of those people that gets bored really easily. I can't sit still for too long without getting fidgety and annoying, and I don't care what I'm doing as long as it's something. I've been doing trampolining for about five years, horse riding for about eight, and a few other random sports like dance, squash and tennis here and there. This makes me sound healthy, but the fact that I manage to get through about three chocolate bars a day completely counter-acts that, don't worry. And when I'm not doing all of that, you can generally find me at the pub losing all my money - it always amuses me that I am generally the first person to start singing and dancing at the pub, and also the only person in my group that doesn't actually drink.

About me as a person, I tend to be very optimistic. The only time you'll find me in a bad mood is if I'm PMSing. Aside from that I am one of those infuriatingly perky people, who is always complimenting random strangers and talking about absolutely nothing to anyone who'll let me babble at them. I have a really bad sense of humour, as in I find absolutely everything funny and so I spend most of the conversations I have laughing, even if the joke really wasn't all that great.

I'd love some new friends to actually get to know. I don't like having people on my friends list who I never speak to. I don't expect you to comment on all of my entries and I won't comment on all of yours either, but I'll try my best to talk to you and comment whenever I can and hopefully you'll do the same. So if you want to be added, just add me, then comment here and tell me a bit about you so I know who you are.
