I update my journal about 2-3 times a week, mainly about the absurdity of life in general. I'm an actual grown-up adult, and I tend to write a lot about booze and cock, and all the things I like about booze and cock. So if you're a wee toddler, then stay the fuck away from my journal.
I like my lj time to be fun. So if all you ever write about is how fucking depressed you are because of your fibromyalgia/uterine tract infections/social anxiety disorder/etc, or how your parents are always giving you shit about not having a job and having to live at home, or how all attractive people are selfish dickheads, or how the reason you have no friends in rl is because you're so superior to the majority of the human race because they're all too retarded to really get you, or if in your userinfo you actually have the phrase "this is where I talk about my boring life," then stay the fuck away from my journal. (ok, ok, we all have bad days, but if your journal is nothing but bad days, then I just don't want to read about it.)
If all you write about is Twilight and/or Dr. Who, then we basically have nothing in common and I'd like to keep it that way. In fact, now that I think about it, if you even liked Twilight, and you're not a teenaged virgin girl, then stay the fuck away from my journal.
That all being said, I really like interacting with my flist; I like people who know how to be witty about life without having to be mean-spirited assholes. That doesn't mean that I'll comment on every single one of your posts, or that I expect you to do so for me. But, I do love a fun comment convo and getting to know the people on my flist.
I guess that's it. My journal is mainly locked, but there are some public posts that you can look through to get a better idea of who I am. I'll probably add back everyone who lets me know that she's added me, but I see it as a no strings attached sort of thing, and if we just don't click, then no big deal about defriending.
