My name is Jessica, 19, currently a sophomore at USC studying neuroscience, and still deciding between music performance/english minors. I'm partial to meet people who really enjoy earnest discourse and won't leave livejournal sporadically (I've blogged for seven years and now hardly any of my friends still use lj). This feels like a personal ad haha. I have a deep fervor for music, especially classical, and have played flute for ten years. I was a marching band nerd in HS, but have opted to pursue other endeavors in college. I don't partake in drinking, partying, drugs, etc. I'm half Japanese, half Guatemalan, vegan, optimist (perhaps extraneous information). I'm exploring Christianity; I was raised in a secular environment-I suppose you could say I'm agnostic. Regarding most things, I discern that I have a lot to learn, don't have very polarized political or religious views, and really enjoy listening to other's opinions in relation to help form my own. I can't really describe my writing, you can survey my lj as a preview (I actually made most prior entries private but some remain intact). Some entries are pensive, most are arbitrary.
I only post when I feel I have something to say (both in entries and comments) and don't feel like lj friends should be obligated to comment, etc unless they fancy to. I also don't have a complex about "I'll only add you if you meet my standards of interesting"- by virtue that I (nor anyone) don't always post interesting things either. If you'd like to be friends, comment here (not on my blog) and I'll add you. I'm excited to have more than 3 people read my journal! haha :)
