I'm a 30-year-old Ph.D. student in archaeology, desperately hoping to finish this year. (Unfortunately, the procrastinatory powers of Livejournal are not helping with that, but we won't talk about that.) I'm luckily married to a woman who, bizarrely enough, not only puts up with me but loves me. I'm presently doing research in Jerusalem, and in my spare time trying to learn about the city, especially the holy sites, as much as I can.
My primary interests are archaeology, religion, the occult, and literature. I'm specializing in the archaeology of the Iron Age Levant. I'm a Catholic, but I'm interested in religion and mysticism of all kinds. And I'm especially a fan of weird fiction -- Lovecraft (about whom I've published a little) and Robert E. Howard especially.
I'm active on Livejournal in spurts, and I'm afraid I don't comment as much as I should (though I'm trying to get better at that). So, if you think you'd be interested in reading my journal, or even better if you think I'd be interested in yours, please add me!
