Hey everyone

Just started on LJ less than a month ago and am looking to make some friends who have a voice and a mind to use it. That is to say, my journal is mostly going to be about the things gone wrong in my home state (California) and I want to know what you guys think about it. Considering all my posts would be basically news and headlines, I will diversify with anything I find funny, personal thoughts, and food for thought.

A bit about me:
My name is Alfonso, I'm a 23-year-old born and bred in California. I have been a gamer since as far back as I can remember and I love to talk with people be it about trifles or considerably personal topics. My girlfriend  and I are struggling to make it, but we've got a plan on how to get out of our funk and move on with where we want to be. We're bringing up a little girl with another on the way (a boy based on her instincts) and no matter what comes at us, so long as we're not at eachother's throats, we'll make it.

Interests: Video games, movies, music, computers, people, california's idiocy, political satire, the paranormal, most anything having to do with zombies, religious debate (even though I am not a religious person), debate in general actually.

Feel free to add me or leave a comment and I'll get back to you =) Till then.
