I have really awesome LJ friends and figured that more awesome LJ friends wouldn't hurt.
About me: I'm twenty-three years old but I have a tendency to tell people I'm twenty-four instead. Probably the only age I've done that for since I was twelve/thirteen. I live in St. Petersburg, FL.
I'm going through a pretty major transitional period right now. I just started a new job as an accounts service representative at a maintenance company a week ago. Before that, I was a cashier at a party retail store. Since I've changed jobs I'm making more money and am, thus, in a position where it is possible to move out of my mom's house. Along with having a new job, my fiance of almost two years (been together since July 2007), Rob, is moving from north Florida to St. Pete in a month. Our relationship has been long distance for a little over a year now. With his move and my new job, I'm really hoping that we'll be able to save up for the wedding that we've never had enough money for.
Outside of that, I really love doing crafts but haven't had much time for them since starting this new job. By crafts, I mean knitting, crocheting, and quilting. I learned how to do all three within the last three months and I love working on projects when I have time. I also really like cooking and baking. I post recipes of things that I want to make eventually every once in awhile. I'm pretty girly. I like pink and brown things and, of course, dots and stripes. I love to shop and I love hanging out with my friends.
But yeah, somewhere between all that, that's what I write about. This journal is about two months old but I've been on LJ since 2002. I read daily but don't necessarily comment daily. It depends on my mood and what I'm reading. Sometimes I'll go on a commenting spree. Sometimes I won't comment for a couple weeks.
About you: You should be...you. I want to read about your life and what goes on in it. I don't care what Glee character you're most like (though I do love the show). You should update on a regular basis too.
If you made it through that then kudos to you. If you read it all and said, "OMG what a loser" then sorry for the time waste. If you read it and said "Hey, she sounds pretty cool" then I think that's a pretty good sign that you should add me. ;P
