Hellooo

My name is Erika, I'm 20 and have been on LJ for a long time under various usernames- I'm finally stickin' with this one! Looking to meet new folks and make some friends :) Just as general knowledge, I don't post as frequently as I used to anymore and tend to lurk more than comment, but I do read everyone's entries and I'm getting back on the commenting ball, so there shouldn't be too much of a problem if you're looking for proactive posting and commenting, hehehe!

More info...
- In Pittsburgh, going to school for psychology.
- Shy at first, but once I get to know you I never shut up xD Goofy, sarcastic, doesn't take self too seriously
- Amateur at both, but I love taking pictures, drawing and crafting- beadwork, leatherwork, woodwork, carving, etc. There are a lot of photo posts in my LJ
- Ridiculously proud of my Scottish and Native heritage xD
- Love learning about other cultures and religions, especially Asian philosophies
- Love birds, especally corvids and parrots. Own two insane ringneck doves named Squeaky and Spook(hence the username)
- Love music of all types. I tend to post a lot of videos as well
- Love to read. I have 3 bookcases and still have to stack books on the floor! I collect old books as well... I don't know what started that, but I love old, used books more than new. The oldest one I have is from 1863.
- Outright love of Doctor Who. Watched most of the classic series and all of the modern so far

That's all I can think to put at the moment... if you want to know more, poke around my journal or just ask :) Hope to get to know some of you soon!
