My real name is Meg, but I tend to go by Risu online now. What you call me really depends on our relationship to each other. I'm twenty (twenty-one in November). I'm not in college due to personal issues. Personal issues are a pretty constant theme in my blog. I complain a lot. If you can't handle reading the things I write and not saying "Oh, man, she's nuts," you probably shouldn't add me, especially not right now. (Not that anything would happen to you, besides a mutual unfriending. I'm not in the habit of making scenes on the Internet.)
I'm intelligent, but I tend to lack a bit of common sense--like knowing the basic necessities to survive on your own, not the common sense like, "Should I eat Windex?"
I'm not religious. Religious discussions tend to make me a bit uncomfortable at times, but it's a part of life. I might talk about some of the problems I have with religions at times, but it will be under a cut with a warning along with all of the other unpleasant business, if you still want to chance befriending. Please note the feelings I have on HoYay/LesYay if you're that kind of religious.
Same goes for political discussions. I dislike them even more than religious discussions though, so I'll be extra cautious when it comes to befriending people who talk about politics a lot.
I just started writing in this blog again, so it's a bit barren. I'm going to start reposting a few things from my old journal to this one (like fics and stuff), either today or after I get back from a little "vacation" I'm going on.
I'm a writer. I participate in NaNoWriMo every year (for about ten years now, I guess). I only won once. I'm a glutton for punishment, you see.
I also say "like" a lot. I blame society. :P
I'm obsessed with Harry Potter, so if you like the psychology of the houses I'm either a Slytherin or a Hufflepuff. Online communities put me into Slytherin; Pottermore sorted me into Hufflepuff. I don't mind either, but I absolutely hate it when people demean any of the houses.
Clever segway into a different category!
Pokemon: I love this fandom--manga, anime, or games. I haven't started writing in it yet, because I can't decide on what I want to write. I just know that I do. If I had any talent in drawing whatsoever, I would, because I love the art from the Pokemon fandom. Instead of drawing, I will repost art from various sources in my journal (cited, if I know the source, but Tumblr isn't the most reliable for this :/). I repost the (worksafe, medium-resized) art without an LJ cut, but I'd hope it doesn't mess up anyone's layout.
Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica: I love this anime. I'm seriously in love with it. I love the art, the MADs, the MMDs, the image songs, the opening and ending songs, the story, the characters, and the animation. I love it all. Seriously obsessed. I will also be reposting art from this.
MLP Friendship is Magic: I love this show! I used to absolutely hate the older generations though, so I probably won't get along well with any pre-Gen4-only collectors. (It was the reason for a recent friendship break-up on my friend's part. I got upset with their behavior.) I'll be happy if someone can prove them wrong though! Bronies, on the other hand, are always welcome, provided they can respect the personal issues and are not complete trolls.
Anime: I like a lot of different anime. I'm not going to list them all on here, because it would get way too long. I just finished watching AnoHana, for example. Lovely Complex, Mawaru Penguindrum, No. 6, etc. Old anime too. Just... a lot.
Harry Potter: Used to be obsessed. I still love it, but I'm not nearly as obsessed as I used to be. I might post things relevant to it every once in a while.
HoYay/LesYay: I love speculating on subtext or text a lot. If you're a homophobe, don't add me. That should actually go under personal issues too, but seriously. Don't. I'll be talking about pairings I like in fandom posts a lot. Most of them will probably be HoYay/LesYay, but I'm not Ew, Het either. I don't appreciate the Die for Our Ship aspect of shipping though.
TV Tropes: Yeeeeah. If you couldn't tell, you're probably not a troper. I often end up falling into troper-speak when I talk to people or make posts, especially if it's about fandoms. I also use Buffy-speak too (all. the. time).
On a final note, I write too much!
