I'm awful at introduction posts. I've been a member of LJ for years & have made some awesome friends through here -- for the past two years ( due to medical reasons, etc ) I've been off the grid. So, here's to me trying to attain some new friends =).

My name is Autumn. I'm 21, married, and an Ohio-an. No children ( we're not fond of the idea of procreating ), but we do have three cats! My husband is a full time cook and a bassist; I mention him frequently. I'm at the bottom of the totem poll in the health care field, and slowly trying to educate myself up. I'm a tried and true geek. Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Disney, Pokemon, Marvel? I'm a little bit in to just about every fandom. However, being a fangirl doesn't quite encompass all of my geekiness. I'm an avid reader of anything and everything, I'm slightly obsessed with miscellaneous facts, and am addicted to all things horror in genre. I'm a very wishy-washy person in the sense that I will love something one day, leave off of it for a week or two while exploring something else, and then eventually come back to it. I have no qualms about admitting this, or the fact that I can sometimes be hard to handle. I'm not for the weak willed or faint hearted. I'm very opinionated. My personality can be overwhelming. I'm arrogant, and egotistical. I don't believe that "we're all the same." I'm a big fan of survival of the fittest. On the flip side, I am loyal to a fault. Considerate, and kind... or else I couldn't properly be in the work field that I am!

I try not to talk about religion, and or politics with anyone -- this is for my sake, and not yours! As I've gotten older, I've started to shy away from nonsensical confrontation and I find that that's the easiest way to avoid it. Politics and religion cause too much of an uproar. What do I talk about? Well, life! Trying to live on a low budget, interesting reads, what I'm doing & where I'm going & how I got there, and mostly just me & the way I look at the world in general -- which, I'll be the first to admit, is oddly. Wow, that was an incredibly long run on sentence.

Who am I looking for?
Someone who has a basic understanding of the English language, and can form coherent thoughts. If you meet those two standards, I'd be more than happy to add you! Sexual orientation, gender, hobbies, interests -- none of that really matters to me. Some of my best friends are complete opposites =).
