Who I Am:
I am Kasey! 27 years young, current resident of Port Orchard, Washington, current scheduler of all your countertop needs at a fabrication shop, with a secret passion to learn to fabricate granite. I am an avid baker, cook, writer, and knitter. I focus most of my free time these days playing World of Warcraft, making dee-licious meals for me and my fellow (our pup's food ain't too shabby either), or working on an endless knitting list of scarves. I have low self esteem when it comes to my exterior, but hot damn, I'm the most awesome person you'll ever meet on the internet and I know it. Okay. Not so much awesome as kind, big-hearted, caring, compassionate, and a kick-ass friend, but I think you get the point of my exaggeration. I love to travel, I love video games, I love to read, and currently I'm trying to make my new passion running on a treadmill. But if you've ever had the issue of your thighs touching, you know THIS IS NOT KOSHER.
Who I'll Be:
My dream in life is to either be a travel writer/photojournalist or own a little human/dog bakery where you can grab yourself the most fantastically fantastic treat and pick up a lil somethin-somethin' for your fuzzy monster, too. Hm. That sounds vaguely dirty. Pumpkin spice cupcakes with cinnamon rum buttercream frosting, anyone?
What I've Done:
I have a Bachelor's in Creative Writing which means JACK ALL for me. It's not helped me to do anything but realize what a silly silly person I was when I started college. Though on the other hand, I'm technically a published writer (self-publishing counts, right?) and you can find my book in just about any online bookstore and it's available for the Kindle AS WE SPEAK. omg.
Who I Want:
Anyway, the type of people I'm interested in meeting and getting to know better might have similar minds, similar interests, and similar tastes in things as me. That's not to say YOU MUST BE MY CLONE, 'cause honestly, I've got that already and two of me is mooooore than enough, tyvm. The world does not want 3 Kaseys. I promise you. I like people that challenge me intellectually, but I also like people who just find pleasure in detailing what they consider their boring days in their own journals. I get along with just about anyone, and if there's something about you I don't particularly fancy or agree with, I find other stuff to love about you, which makes it all better. I'm really easy-going, easy to get to know, and very down to earth. I swear like a sailor; I rant and rave about some of the most awesome things and some of the nastiest things; I post photos of my ridiculously adorable dog, as well as the food I make, sometimes with recipes.
So consider this an endorsement for Kasey! She's the best!
Please don't construe the fake pompousness as true. I'm really a sweet, sweet lass, I promise.
