♥ I drink a lot of tea and a lot of wine; I like the former strong and the latter sweet. I'm quite girly and I love make-up, beauty stuff, and anything sparkly or shiny. My favourite type of music is classic rock. I read a lot, mostly fantasy but since I got a Kindle (come to the dark side.. we have, uh, cake ;D) I've been branching out.
★ Interests: 60s/70s stuff, knitting, nature, bumblebees, music, books, acoustic guitar, video games (world of warcraft in particular), us tv shows, dancing, foreign languages, science, cinema, cooking, meeting new people, watching anime, soccer, visiting tourist-y things, photography, singing badly in the shower, seeing live bands, getting manicures.
♣ The heavy stuff, and a bit of a disclaimer: I'm a Catholic and take my faith somewhat seriously; this includes my being pro-life. I'm also in the midst of deciding whether or not to apply to join a religious order. I don't write exclusively about religious stuff, but it's a part of my life (and thus, will be a part of my journal).
☀ I don't mind adding people of different beliefs, so long as there is a degree of tolerance then I'm sure we'll get along great. I've yet to meet someone I didn't find something to like about. ;D
☂ While I consider myself to be an aspiring optimist, I have bad days just like everybody else. Meaning there may be some slight depressive posts from time to time.
♦ Lastly, a word about my journal: it's new. As I'm a revert to Livejournal, I decided to make a new journal instead of trawling back through my old one. I'm a pretty decent updater when I get going and a regular commenter.

No reason this is here; I just think it's cute - did I mention I'm random? ;D
