I come bearing gifts of delight and intrigue! Except, not really. You're kinda just stuck with plain 'ol me.
I've posted in this comm several times before under a different journal name, but I recently (read: this past week) signed up for a new journal to get away from the old me. Granted, the new me isn't some whole new person, but I wanted a fresh start.
SO! A little about me: I'm a nearly 28 year old female living in Washington. I live with my boyfriend in our cute smurf-blue house in a town of about 11,000 people. I work full-time and both love and hate my job. My hobbies include: baking/cooking, photography, writing, traveling, reading, gaming, and knitting. Sadly, I've misplaced some of my free time and gaming & knitting have taken a back burner to the others. I'll be honest, my life is a little mundane - a lot of the same stuff in my days from start to finish - but with this new journal, I hope to change things up a little. I normally post photos, re-caps of the last few days, and on the rare occasion, rants or raves. I'm hoping to do something different with this new journal and take some focus off of my old gripes. Can't sweat some of the small stuff!
More you should know about me: I'm a very sweet gal. I try very hard to find something to like about everyone. No one's perfect, including me, and sometimes the most conflicting friendships can be the best! I'm an excellent listener/reader, I think I give incredibly sound/sane/intelligent advice about things, and I'd like to believe my RL and internet friends could say some pretty fantastic things about me as well. I swear like a sailor (even using some taboo words, but rarely), I'm child-free and will sometimes bitch about other people's children, I'm not PC by ANY means, and if something's on my mind, you better believe I'm gonna say it.
People I'm interested in befriending: if all you do is talk about religion, drugs, children, or how much your life sucks, I'm gonna be honest, I'll have a hard time finding something in common with you. That's not to say I won't add you back and give you a try - like I said, I try to find something about everyone I like and I like being surprised when it happens - but I will have to apologize up front if I don't ever comment on those posts. If we have similar hobbies/interests (there are a few more in my profile to check out, and more to come), definitely add me.
If you're interested in adding me, great! Kudos to you! You won't regret it! Just let me know if you are. I've already made some great friends through this community thus far and look forward to making some more.
