I'm refreshing my friends list an awful lot lately and thinking, DAMMIT PEOPLE, stop having lives and only updating your journal once a day! While I really would like to chain some of my favorite LJ people to their computers and make them write continually for my amusement, that seems really cruel...and like it might dampen the quality of their writing a little.
So maybe it's time to add some new journals to scroll through.
I did recently delete a lot of people, but that's not a regular thing---I also removed and archived half a decade's worth of posts. It was a whole Cleaning Up My Life thing, so if you feel like I deleted you and shouldn't have, feel free to add me back, no hard feelings, no questions asked.
Debriefing on me: 26 year-old Kentucky exilee currently living the dream in a modest Happy Valley apartment, in a town where people make bobble head shrines and turn over news vans, in a state I admittedly don't know much about, in a country that I think is an extraordinarily exquisite absurdist play and nothing more, or at least that's what I tell myself to make it through the days, which I spend being a waitress, a wife, and a grad student going for a clinical degree in speech pathology. I post about those things, with various degrees of eloquence and attention, and I'm currently very focused on Staying On Top Of Things, so I'm posting in my journal more frequently than in the past as a part of that process.
I'm really shy about commenting, and about making this post even, so please don't take it personally if I don't reply to your comments frequently or respond to your posts at first. I'm mostly worried about making a fool out of myself on the internet and probably think you're too cool for me to talk to. No joke. I'll add you, though, and I'll read you pretty religiously, and I'll generally try to speak up if I feel like I can be helpful. Or witty. Sometimes I try to be witty.
Anyway, thanks for contributing to my procrastination in the future!
