Been here before, know the routine :)
I'm a 29 year old female who lives in western Washington. I live with my fellow of over 5 years and our dog. I am technically unemployed but am currently working on setting up a home-based baking business.
My journal is currently a mash of random things. Lately it seems like I've been posting a lot about my business, which includes everything from gripes about the application process, updates on my progress, and photographs of the goodies I will be offering. I try to intersperse lots of information about what else is going on with my day-to-day life outside of that. The fellow, the dog, my vegetable garden. My life is not always full of exciting adventures, but my life isn't 100% boring, either.
Some of my interests (that do get mentioned in my journal) include: baking/cooking, writing, reading, gaming, gardening, knitting, travel/exploring, diet/exercise (though it's not something I talk about at length ever), photography, home renovations.
What I'm looking for in journal-buddies is someone who posts on a regular basis. Not someone who decided to revive their journal and then walks away two days into it because they're bored. I like people who don't post Twitter feeds, even occasionally. If I wanted to see your tweets, I'd have a Twitter account and follow you. People who have kids, are religious, and do drugs are okay in my book (I identify as CF, I'm agnostic, and I don't do drugs), but I don't want to hear/read about it in every post. There's more to life than all that. Someone who's super into fandoms and post about them constantly - not interested either. Once in awhile is fine; not every post. I like people who are interactive with their LJ friends, I like people who post photos, who talk about their day, who are generally happy and not constantly woe-is-me.
Have a photo of my dog while you're at it:
