Relationship: Married (to a guy)
Occupation: LAN administrator, self proclaimed modern philosopher
Personality: I am open minded, somewhat easy going, loyal...care deeply about my friends, extremely extroverted, little off in the head, tolerant
Kids/pets: I love dogs. My favorite are German Shepherds. Very easy to train. Kids...well, the husband wants to adopt, but I can see some of my father in me and that completely terrifies me about being a parent.
How long have you been on LJ?: Since 2001, this is the third journal
What kind of books do you like?: I'm relearning that.
What are your favorite movie/TV shows: Huge Star Wars fan, mecha based anime, sports movies, male/male themed movies (non gay), movies that make you think
What kind of music do you listen to?: I'm a metal head. Well, that's my primary genre. Honestly, I love music. Anything that causes me to sing in my SUV works.
What are some of your hobbies? Collecting music videos to songs I like, dancing badly, singing badly, being wrong on purpose, working out, video games, male bonding, learning to play guitar, off roading, researching male relationships, table top rpgs
Other interests? Challenging my views on life, learning about life and others, Jeeps, Jacked up trucks, photography
What are you looking for in a LJ friend? I am open to almost anyone. Limiting this prevents me from continuing to explore life. I had a discussion with a racist while being black and gay. I think I can work with almost anyone.
I abandoned the rat race as much as I could and have been focusing on the people in my life. I do go to therapy for my bipolar, but it's not as much of a focus as it used to be. I am working on avoiding being disappointed when people aren't as excited about knowing me as I am them. I'm very much a people person. I can operate alone just fine and have for years, but I hate it. I do lack common sense when my friends ask me for help sometimes though. If you'd like to know me, please comment and let me know. Right now I'm in a transitional state in my life, so my posts can be a bit long on occasion.
