I'm a 38-year-old male, married (which has its ups and downs), with a three-year-old son, living in Los Angeles.
I'm a professional archaeologist. I am intensely interested in history, religion, and the supernatural. I'm especially interested in sacred sites, including, but not limited to, churches, things under churches, springs, mountain tops, and certain trees. But mostly I write cultural resources impact assessments.
Favorite authors include Graham Greene, H.P. Lovecraft, and M.R. James for fiction; Herbert E. Bolton and Robert Caro for non-fiction. I was happy that Kazuo Ishiguro won the Nobel for Literature this morning.
Many of my posts are public; others that are more personal are friends only. Let me know if you add me.
