Hi. :)

-I'm female.

-I'm a writer.

-I'm kind of a Buffy nerd. *blush*

-I also love Glee and Supernatural is cool too.

-I'm a feminist. Deal with it. (I also support men's rights!)

-I'm bisexual.

-I hate racism, sexism, and homophobia.

-I love to talk endlessly, so if you're in the mood to talk about anything--from Buffy to global warming--I'm willing and friendly.

-I'd be interested in rping with other Buffy, Glee, or Supernatural fans, but it's not like that's the only thing I'd want to do.

-I love music! My favorite artists at the moment are the Black Keys, Bon Iver, and Lykke Li.

Comment if you'd like to be friends. Or PM, whichever you're more comfortable with. :)

I'm 19 years old and I live in London. I'm about to go into my third year studying English Language and Literature at Oxford, so obviously I spend a lot of time there too. I write a lot about my life at university, my plans for the future, and my various interests. I read a lot, so most of my entries tend to mention whatever I'm reading at the moment. I'm obsessed with Shelley and Keats, and I'm a volunteer at Keats House in London. Next month I'm also going to be spending three weeks in Rome, working at Keats-Shelley House, so you get the idea...quite obsessed. I'm also interested in music (lots of 80s stuff - particularly post-punk and new wave), and although I don't really watch TV, I'm a huge fan of Brideshead Revisited and Twin Peaks.

I love writing, and I've been working on a novel in my spare time for the past few years, although it's still nowhere near finished. I'd particularly like to meet other people who are interested in writing. Having recently changed my mind about wanting to go into academia, I'm currently having a bit of a crisis about what to do when I finish university next year, and I'm trying to think of a more realistic plan than "become a commercially-successful yet also critically-acclaimed novelist". I don't have much time for any writing that isn't essay-writing at the moment, sadly, but that should change next year. I'm trying to teach myself Italian, too, but partly due to lack of time, I haven't made that much progress yet.

I've been updating my LJ consistently for nearly five years now, but my flist often seems quite dead, so I'm looking for interesting people who update regularly. Although I don't think it's necessary to comment on every single entry, I don't like lurkers, so the occasional comment is nice! I'd like open-minded friends who preferably my age or older, and people who write quite detailed entries about the things going on their life. It's nice when you feel like you really know the people on your flist.
